So many ppl are getting In Process, I wonder what the hell did I do wrong to not get any update in my Ecas. It still says appl recvd + medical recd. My notes are due in a day or two, lets see how much work has been done so far.

If you are requesting information for the person who is Canadian Citizen, permanent residents and any individual present *in* Canada then you can apply under Privacy Act.

However, if you are applying for the person living outside of Canada, you need to apply under "Access to Information Act". And in such cases you need to have CONSENT FORM IMM5744 signed by that person.
