I see that the application date in april, may and later are getting visa good happy about someone's progress but anyone who applied for spouse PR in Jan or Feb this year and still pending. please reply........................ I am requesting to everyone please help.............

Hey Myrah,

Got the GCMS notes today and as per the notes the stupid embassy people were sending email on a wrong email address. Thats why we missed the passport request twice. Now i will be asking my wife to submit the passport with the GCMS notes through courier company asap.

A big thanks to you and Can4Visa for guiding me towards notes, or else i would have not known the status ever.

Hello Everyone,

I have applied for my wife visa as spouse PR in Feb-2013, received email on Feb 08th 2013 for acknowledgement of file received. On March 01st 2013, I received email that "You are eligible for sponsoring your spouse and sending file to New Delhi for further processing". Than after I was just waiting and checking status regularly last month on Sept 18th 2013 they have updated "We have started processing on your application" and than after received email on Sept 27th 2013 to submit passport and pay RPRF fees in Canada. I have completed everything and my wife submitted passport is now almost 3 weeks and medical also pre-submitted at time of application which shows online.

my questions are:-

1. When I check online for status there are 2 links highlighted one is "Decision Made" and another is "In Process" and both the address i.e. 'Current Home Address' and 'Current Mailing Address' are mine of Canada. Is it ok and everyone else having same when they check online status on CIC.

2. At time of passport submission on Sept 27th 2013 they asked spouse signature for change of address, here when I moved to other house I just changed online and informed New Delhi office for change of my/sponsor address not the applicant/spouse, So I/my wife has written letter clarifying the address change of sponsor in Canada and address of applicant in India is unchange. Does this affect and delay in stamping visa and sending back to my spouse in India.

3. Approx how much time it takes to get passport back with visa. I mean its 3 weeks and 15 to 17 working days still there is no any status updated online for visa issued or passport sent.

4. Is there anyone who have applied at similar time and got visa or sailing in same boat with me, waiting for visa.

guys help me out as its been long waiting for visa, any comments or questions are most welcome and thanks everyone for reading long writing.

1 -- yes its perfectly okay -- status is like this only for all of us -- first decision made is for sponsorship approval and second which is in process -- it is for PR app approval - which in ur case is still in process. Once you see decision made instead of in process thr u'll get pp back with visa in a weeks time.

2 -- if the address is already changed thn it wont affect the process now -- its all good.

3-- u'll get it once the decision is made -- usually the processing is done in 10-15 days depends on case to case -- sometimes background and criminal,checks do take time dwpending on various factors.

4 -- yes there are still many feb applicants waiting for pp. So nothing to worry.

juz dun worry -- u r all good to go -- infact almist there -- hopefully next week only it gets updated to DM -- good luck dear.

But they didn't mentioned about .....security,eligibility, background checkup

urs is in process -- so now all this checks are in process too -- dont worry. Juz few days more good luck

guys the spreadsheet is getting updated finally.......all ppl on this forum... the names are updated with the application date only till APRIL.........pls go thru it.... its impossible to go thru 100 applicant and get the exact timeline of their application....so pls can u share your timeline....PLS PM MYRAH7 AND PRASAMP with this format......(the sheet rt now is incomplete we working on it)

we just made MP inquiry and he said background checks are done..... interview has been schedule for family. and bring forward date is 30th nov...
can anyone tell me why they schedule interview and what bring forward date means? and how much time they will take now....
