They are already issuing visas for April...they are not following chronological order....
lets see how long it takes them to clear backlog for Jan/Feb/March!! hopefully before december !!

I would like to Ask you guys if its okay to send information to NDVO regarding spousal PR file
without them asking for it? I meant sending the Divorce petition to expedite things even if they have not yet
asked for it. How about sending them documents (proofs of second visit to see spouse: visa, photos)? Hope to find an anwser from the forum.

any communication needs to have the letter you received form the NDVO
but giving them too much will also slow things down....
for your divorce you would need to send the divorce decree when you are applying itself...is your divorce not through?

Hello Everyone,

I requested my GCMS notes on Sept 23 , 2013. I received an email back today (18 Oct 2013), after 4 weeks.

The GCMS notes state that it was generated 23-Sept-2013. Is it normal that it took 1 month to send them to me by email?

Note that this was my second time applying for GCMS notes. The first time, I applied under wrong category "access of information act" instead of privacy act. I am just wondering if these notes were generated during my first inquiry and were only send to me now.

My GCMS notes mention Security: Not started, Criminality: not started. I applied in Jan 2013.

Is there anyone else in the same situation?

My wife's status just got updated to "In Process" on Oct 10, 2013 and i guess CIC updated it 2 days ago. What is the next step from here? Do i get some sort of an email? anything?

Myrah, Please change 'interview' for Gauti to 'not sure' because we have recieved another email from ndvo stating our file is pending for initial review. I mean 3-4 weeks they sent email saying he will be interviewed and on monday, they sent another email stating file is pending for review.
They are so un-organized.....

Finally Myrah, The file is in Process. October 10th - March Applicant.
P/S I am still waiting for my GCMS notes its been 34 days and still haven't received them. Hopefully i should have something by end of today as it was long weekend followed by a Stat Holiday. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hey Myrah,

Got the GCMS notes today and as per the notes the stupid embassy people were sending email on a wrong email address. Thats why we missed the passport request twice. Now i will be asking my wife to submit the passport with the GCMS notes through courier company asap.

A big thanks to you and Can4Visa for guiding me towards notes, or else i would have not known the status ever.
