this week, there were about 15 people who got their status changed to 'in process', 2 'DM' and 2 got shiny visas passport...is this better than strike days? I was hoping for more approvals...I think on Saturdays they change the status ..otherwise we have to wait for next week

Hi Ankush,

I have travel history and I was residing with my husband in Canada before coming to India to submit my passport.
I got DM though yesterday . When we did MP enquiry he said that having a Canadian visa is good for application.

The Reason for your DM could also be the reason due to the fact that your medicals were also expiring on the 31 oct. Anyways any interview or anything or just Dm ....And b4 I 4get hoe long did it take approx from IN process To DM (I mean Days).Thankx a ton in advance.

Most of times 7-10 days but some applicants are waiting even from more than 2 months , so its un-predictable. Just hope for the best.
