every file is unique, its not really first come first service - each file involves background and security check with officers review on marriage. Some details satisfy them and security etc come sooner but for some it takes time

every file is unique, its not really first come first service - each file involves background and security check with officers review on marriage. Some details satisfy them and security etc come sooner but for some it takes time

wish NDVO is more transparent. If they let people know the problems they face (lack of manpower; outdated technology; waiting for background checks to be done which is not under their control; holidays; strikes etc) then people may not have high expectations. Having said that, many people who have applied in 2012 are waiting for more than a year. Unless all of them have unique problems (in which case a simple email to tell them that their applications are delayed due to such and such reasons and this simple email would help them to cope up with the situation) I am not sure why so much of delay.
