lawyers are quite a breed....one member in this forum wrote that his lawyer told him that background checks are separately done and got nothing to do with PPR....my lawyer told me the same. In my case, I never got my PPR. My notes says nothing has yet started. So does it mean if they ask for my PPR a year later then the process starts? in some cases people never receive PPR but when everything is done they get a call from NDVO. Until there is somewhere a written rule and some shows me the rule, I am kind of skeptical about lawyers and their opinions. I get better opinion reading this forum than lawyers. Again with regard to ordering notes, some lawyers recommend not to do it and some recommend it.

I think lawyer and MP enquiry are waste of time.......... This forum is much more knowledgeable.

I completely agree with you as some members (2012 applicants) got PPR through phone call at the last stage and they received their Passport back within 1-2 weeks. So it seems every lawyer has his own opinion.

hi... dont apply for GCMS now... you should be processed soon... me and you have same timeline...
my wife app was submitted 19th apr and sent to delhi on 15th may...we just had medicals updated in our ecas 2 days back... so hold on... in a week u will see updates.
