This Monday was thanksgiving ,maybe that is the reason the processing was a lil slow.
But I am sure NDVO will gear up now and issue more and more visas.

I will update once I get my passport back with the visa.

I checked it yesterday.Now hoping to get DM soon.
Looks like it takes an average of a month to get DM after getting to "in process" status.

saw people in april go in process yesterday that were april applicants. For me only thing that changed yesterday on ecas was that they wrote medical received.

on a side note when I login with application number the mailing address is my lawyer's address in Toronto. I told him to change and he sent email to NDVO. Would it not be better to change it on ecas cause it would be immediate??

my lawyer told me that once DM done, lawyer's mailing address would be changed to sponsor's address in ecas..in other words both addresses would be the same....in any case, lawyer gets all communications via email (sometimes some ignorant fool in NDVO sends out snail mail) or phone call (in case PP request is missed couple of times). Passport is sent to the sponsored address. So, I am not sure about the advantage of changing mailing addresses.

Got GCMS notes. As per notes on September 27th Eligibility was Recommended Passed.

****Recommended Waiver, file was sent to officer for review ( RC-9570 ).
No update in ecas yet. Does anyone know how much time it takes for a file to be reviewed by officer ? Last month file was tocuhed on 17th and then on 27th. October 17th might be a lucky day for me.

Guys. I need a help....

I filed my application on march 8th. got file number & passport request after one month. But on aug, I got my PhD offer and I applied for my student visa. received my student visa with passport and I came to Canada on Sept 2nd. Now what I need to do for getting my PR.?????. do I need to send my passport again or just wait... Do i need to send any mail to embassy.? Is thr anyone here got some idea abt this situation?

. Immigration file : permanent residence or
. Sponsorship file

2. Do we need to enter applicant or sponsor details on consent form. Do we need to print sign n scan consent form?

I think you should contact CIC over there.

and really need help

have some issue with my doc transcript
m a co-applicant
i did my hsc from shri chinai junior college of comm and eco mumbai
problem is that college is closed and not ready to give transcript and college doesn't hold any records,and also in some legal dispute with government
my agents say that without transcript he cannot login my file ..and will have problem in processing i have given my ssc transcipt
