Hi guys need a help for gcms notes....

1. What shall I select for file type
. Immigration file : permanent residence or
. Sponsorship file

2. Do we need to enter applicant or sponsor details on consent form. Do we need to print sign n scan consent form?

For 1, select sponsorship file

For 2, Please read carefully as it asks for both in separate sections of the form

Our application changed to 'In Process' on August 7, and still remains the same. Applied for GCMS notes last month and expecting in on Oct 23rd with favorable (or not so favorable) news. Hopefully favorable.

same here mine is 'In Process' since 14th aug........but my wife got a letter from NDVO on October 1st asking to visit VFS office in Kathmandu,Nepal to arrange for return of her passport. She went to VFS on 2nd October and they told her it will take around 15 business days but so far she has not received her passport and no update in ecas.......i don't know how long we have to wait:'(

yes that's right they do take 15 days ..........now I guess u will get an email from VFS stating that your wifes passport has been dispatched by NDVO ....once u get that it will take couple of days more...........start celebrating .... your wife is goin to have her pp with visa in her hands very soon..........

I recently ordered GMCS notes, in the Eligibility section, the VO wrote a positive summary of our case and ended the note with "Recommend WAV" in bold letters.

Does anyone have an idea what "WAV" would stand for? Or has anyone seen this in their GCMS note?

Waiver means recommending interview waiver in my opinion.

What does it say in eligibility section? Recommend passed or passed ?
Does it say file has been forwarded to officer for review too ?

It says Status=Recommended Passed.

But does not say file has been forwarded to next Visa Officer for review.

STRANGE QUESTION:------------

one of my friend has got medicals done.
NDVO sent a letter to applicant that their son's medical must be assessed again in 6 months from this medical's date.
Doctor says they need to wait 6 months and re-do meds again.
REASON seems to be kid's weak health. He is not unhealthy but a lil weak being having a premature birth.

Have u ever heard this ??? :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Is there any way applicant can call NDVO or meds department to get clear idea.

hey congrats u are 28th feb ? inprocess since 4th oct? did ecas chg rt now?................wishing u all the happiness and a speedy pp with visa
