if you look at his post on the left side he/she has given a timeline...according to that timeline, application was filed in May 2012..hats off to him/her for the long wait and I haven't searched his/her post to find out if there was any complaint about the delay. I am amused at some people who applied few months ago and they get impatient and complain about the delay. Wasn't it in Indian mythology that Rama waited for 14 years? did he complain? not that I know of. I got to google and find out.

Sorry but who's complaining? I just got too excited looking at the date..I didn't even notice the year...I am happy... I have been living with my husband since our wedding... And even if I wasn't.. I wouldn't sit here and complain... We all knew about it when we decided to get married outside of Canada.. I lived without him before and I can do it again... No choice... .. gotta go through this... Like it or hate it..

I didn't say it was you..some people were (though legitimate to complain if it is really delayed for a long time...If I apply for visa in Sept and expect the process to be over by October then I am nuts)

Rama waited 14 years , But He was with His wife "Sita G" at that moment...

I can understand your point of view. But for example, when I had to live a pregnancy alone in Canada because I had too much nauseas to stay in India, and I had to give birth to my son without my husband, and had to wait that my son has 11 months before finally be able to go see my husband in India and to present him his son, and after a long wait before he gets his indian passport, and FINALLY we can apply for permanent residence, the days seem to be very very longs .... we do not always know the stories of others!

good point...thanks for pointing it out cases such as yours....I do have to consider other factors not publicly revealed...perhaps NDVO should process some applications faster than others due to reasons such as yours..

sure why not? you will have to use your credit card for payment and probably you need Canadian address for your credit card to work online (depending on how it is set up with your credit card company; mine was asking to input postal code as an added security measure); you can send a scanned copy of yours and your sponsored person's approval; if the application form asks for canadian address and canadian phone number in case if CIC wants to contact you, you need those....ask for electronic version of the report so that you can get it in 30 days and then wait to see what it says...my time line and yours is similar. All I saw in my report was 'nothing started yet' but it doesn't mean you might see the same since I applied for notes much earlier in the process. My feeling is NDVO has not started working on May applications. You might be able to see if an interview is waived for you or not. Good luck.
