hubby applied for GCS on 23rd sept.. and we applied thru mail on online... d person ma spoke to said tht it will take 2 weeks for report to cme... 2 weeks coz strike is over or wht??? any idea?

Good afternoon everyone I didn't disappear I was busy preparing my speech for 1500 post hehhehe jokes apart. ......guys who have got pp back with visa a BIG CONGRATULATIONS and wish u guys a very happy married life ppl who are waiting pls don't get upset coz every officer is different some more experienced vo work faster hense move to the next file....and some are slow hense they take time to move to the next file...........im sure there are few vo ASSIGNED for each month ....work in ndvo is full swing as we can see that everyday we are getting positive news from them......... ppl waiting since 2012 hope u get it 1st rest jan onwards ....... October month is goin to be a fruitful month ;D stars have all changed only good times now........wishing u all the best guys and looking fwd hearing good news everyday

1500th post will be just a 'thank you' (just like some serial finales..big let down) or speech thanking god first for the award, hubby next and all those little people in this forum..reminds me of an old movie where Rajesh Khanna in the final scene asks his mother to come to the podium to accept the award on his behalf..very emotional scene woke me up from snoring...think it was Aradhaana)..hopefully you won't become a diva asking us to address you 'your highness' because you hit your 1500th post..

My status is still in process since September 18th .
I am a march end applicant , still waiting for the visa.... :-[ :-[ :-[

I am hoping that I get some good news after Durga Puja is over .
Does it usually take 8 months for the entire process?

Thanks dude. Yes my wife got her visa.
In my case the entire process completed in around 8/9 months. from very begining of feb to the very end of sept. Still, there is no fixed rule..

and About me my status is still "Application Recvd" only not even medical recvd...God knows what will happen...mine is very simple and straight forward case First Marriage,Love Marriage,No travel history..don't know why i am not getting update...today i will get my GCMS Notes hopefully see what happend..
