I got my GCM notes and nothing is started.

Criminality Not started.


I am fed up and confused now. What should I do

My wife got her PP today with shiny Visa

Aaj main upar aasma neeche...lol

The whole process took 6 months and 15 days....but it felt like forever...and now finally the wait is over.

M hoping that NDVO clears the backlog ASAP and reunite families....after all they got they were looking for and now its our turn.

Thats crazy just do a mp enquiry on ur file buddy i think they are sleeping with ur file or write them a email asking for the status of ur file ur medical have been expired now i think that it is not the problem with the medicals they do not want to get ur medicals redone.

As mentioned above..contact ur MP (even though i think they are useless)...email them directly as well.

I got the same GCMS notes..no friggin action since May on my file...nothing but i think these notes are not 100% reliable...not sure how they are updated.

ECAS Status since day one is Application Received.


I haven't received anything from the embassy yet.

guys... how long will an MP query take? My MP sent an email to NDVO last thursday, I called them today asking the status and they said nothing has been received from NDVO yet, and they are going to send another email today as a followup. Not sure what these guys are going.

it do not work that way, you will have to check your GCMS notes for the exact date.

Example for my application medicals were done in Dec 2012, but the expiry is Feb 2014 meaning, the medicals reached NDVO in Feb 2013. So its one year the from the day NDVO received not when it was done.

I enquired with my husband about the MP's response on my medical.
I got my medical done on Nov1st 2012 but it's valid till Nov 9th 2013. Got 9 days grace .
Just a quick question here I have a Canadian tourist visa. Which was issued in April 2012. So while issuing that visa do you think they did all those basic criminality and background check?

Thats total BS...my MP office replied to me within 2 days. Tell them other offices are getting updates within 2-3 days...

I did MP enquiry and got a call back from MP office same day.

To clarify they don't check with NDVO , they check with CIC inside Canada and get updates on your file

only GOD n NDVO knws hw they work hw they issue visa its just to discusss abt thr work coz unhi k haath me sab hai we just hav to WAIT
