NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

Hi vrajput,

I am also March applicant. I sent my application on 18th march'2013. My e-cas says application and medical received. My husband enquired with the MP and his response was very disheartening. MP informed us that no work has been done on my file since the submission of my passport. Even the eligibility has not been reviewed. I was hopeful on getting my DM before 1st of no as my medical will expire on that day. But looking at the process I think I have to get new medical examination done in advance.
Don't know how long this process will torture people have been waiting.

oh dont be sad.. u still have one full month and may be they ll try to process ur file before medical expires.. because they did that to many 2012 applicants. So i think u r in final stages. and u should hear something soon. dont be disheartened. i know its easy to say than to experience. but u ll be fine. keep ur hopes high.

Aaj main upar aasma neeche...lol

The whole process took 6 months and 15 days....but it felt like forever...and now finally the wait is over.

M hoping that NDVO clears the backlog ASAP and reunite families....after all they got they were looking for and now its our turn.

I hope your words come true. I have a huge travel history, Infact during the time of filing the application I was in Canada . I read somewhere that traveling to Canada before marriage delays the process, hope that doesn't happens in my case . Though it's already delayed beyond my expectation.

I hope your words come true. I have a huge travel history, Infact during the time of filing the application I was in Canada . I read somewhere that traveling to Canada before marriage delays the process, hope that doesn't happens in my case . Though it's already delayed beyond my expectation.

I am still waiting for mine. Hopefully, will get it by Monday next week latest.

Can you let me know which city is your spouse from ? and how did she get her pp back? Registered courier or speed post ??

But my wife was in UK for almost 2 years..
I have attached the PCC from there,,,but may be thats the reason of delay in my case...

it do not work that way, you will have to check your GCMS notes for the exact date.

Example for my application medicals were done in Dec 2012, but the expiry is Feb 2014 meaning, the medicals reached NDVO in Feb 2013. So its one year the from the day NDVO received not when it was done.

interesting... I always thought its 1 year from the day its done. good info !!
