hey simran..our timeline is almost same...we got our passport req also on 7th..wats ur ecase status??

Its says in process since 15august.

As long as there is a busines, there is no free service. VFS helps to get the passport back (I think you got an optional letter from NDVO to take to VFS office). VFS is relatively cheaper than other renowned commercial couriers.

Thanks buddy my wife she went to VFS today and paid Rs 1220 to arrange pp back and they said it will take around 15 days. But my ecas is still in process

there is an update ! My wife got an email from VFS - NDVO dispatched passport to VFS office at delhi/chandigadh. But there is no change in ECAS. it still says in-process.

she might get this in Kathmandu after a couple of days. I am so eager to meet her :-*

nice....NDVO works superbly when it is a holiday....many DMs...hopefully they will work harder (I am willing to give them my paisa collection jar for them to work overtime) during regular working days since next holiday is probably months away...
