Reading these posts about the addresses, I realized I have a similar doubt:

I currently live in location A (city of my workplace), whereas my Police Clearance certificate has me living at location B (where my parents live), and my permanent/residential address in Passport is location C (my old address).

Would this create a problem? :-\

no it shud not as long as you dont tell NDVO that you have different address for workplace as well.

ya maybe but it doesn't allow us to chg the address to indian address .....weird my e-cas is

I would suggest better directly call CIC and ask them for advise as to what needs to be done, i think u have to change it cuz whenever the spouse enters canada they ask for the address and that time if you had your old address then that might be a problem

Don't worry about workplace and police clearance certificate office address. Almost all Nepali applicant get police clearance from Kathmandu only wherever they live. Workplace is not your permanent address. I think you have not mentioned this address anywhere in your application. There is no postal correspondence while the file in process. All you need is check your email inbox spam everywhere regularly and check your post box of past address sometimes. Try to make one address consistence throughout your application

Thanks, guys! Despite this being my first day in the forum, thanks to you all, I already feel I have made good progress in my understanding of this process. :)

Is anyone help me about my below mentioned querry:

My full name is Given Name i.e. No surname in CIC records. So what should I mention under Surname Box while checking online status of my application?

As it is required to fill all boxes of input for checking online status, so due to this I am unable to check my application status.

Please suggest me. Thanks
