Yes, thats the whole confusion. Since i did not receive the mail so i did not know about sending old passports. The lady over the phone also did not mention about it. But, thankyou and yes i should mail them asking about it. Most of the time they do not reply reply to the emails. Thats a problem again. Haha

I have e mailed an inquiry regarding this to the new delhi office. Hoping they will reply.

I have a question...apart from confirming about the ingenuity of the relationship that we have with our spouses, in medical - tuberculosis check, etc ....in my case I have mailed them attested copies of my experience letters from work ...do they call up the companies and check ?.. I am just curious .... to know...can somebody throw some light on this .... presently also I am associated with a company but doing consulting/free lancing kind of job.... and obviously as I have not left my services here in the new company, I have not provided , rather could not provide any letter....

I mean that wont matter I guess....
My basic question being do they call up companies where you have worked to confirm?

That's a good question and I believe they don't call to working company to check coz our files are sponsership visa file not a work permit or skill set visa file so where and what we are working that not much matter for them main matter for them is to check relationship is genuine or not, background in the sense criminal background

main time they are taking for that only that's why they looking for PCC from every country where we stayed more then 6 months..

In the correspondence I received from NDVO, there was no mention of sponsorship approval. They asked for the passport and mentioned that the request doesn't serve as a guarantee of visa issuance.

In the 2013 ND Applicants spreadsheet, I checked a column "sponsorship approval", for which the data always seems to predate PPR (Passport Request). Just wondering if I missed something.

Any advice?

PPR is a step after SA.

I did not get any AOR or SA acknowledgment but straight away received PPR. So you are safe nothing to worry about.
