Its more or less same thing but you get a verbal enquiry on ur file and whats going on and the difference is gcms take a month to get back to you while mp enquiry will be done in 5 days to maximum

Buddy just wait they will ask for passport the day they want to issue the visa ...... and he wont have to wait he will get his passport same day back.....

My ecas shows application received on November 2012 and medical received. we sent passport to NDVO in march 2013, after that we sent another police clearance certi. upon their request ( can you imagine police clearance issuance without a passport?) and still no reply or status updates!

well since u aint getting any further updates from NDVO - so why dont u tell ur hubby to either contact his local MP and ask them to enquire about ur case file or u can tell him to apply for GCMS notes - maybe u get an idea about ur files processing this way. Good luck

thanks for reply, but i was told that because of a strike action it is getting delayed, and i guess some1 from this forum told me that the normal time line is 11 months from passport request, so i have to wait and ther's no other option.

thanks for reply, but i was told that because of a strike action it is getting delayed, and i guess some1 from this forum told me that the normal time line is 11 months from passport request, so i have to wait and ther's no other option.

its not from the day of passport request it is from the day your file is transferred to new delhi from that day onwards they count 11 months for processing the file on spouse visa.
