Does Canadian Embassy at New Delhi Accepts passport sent by BLUE DART? Has anyone sent passport to NDVO by Blue Dart?

Hello Esteemed Members,

My wife is in Pune, India and she has got Passport Request a couple of days back.
She went to speedpost office in pune to send her passport to NDVO but they denied her service saying that they DO NOT send passports over speed post!

Members, Please let me know what are the alternatives by which she can send her passport.
Courier? By Post( i dont like this method as it is not safe and we might end up losing passport)?

Please use blue dart and keep the tracking # so you can track it...

I used blue dart last week to send the passport. Also get the tracking #

Hi guys,
Hope every one is doing good and my well wishes with who got their VISA and DM. I have small question. My wife got passport requested from NVDO. But in the letter they have mentioned i have to submit the copy of fees, original passport, and PCC.

My doubt is, how can she is send the already sent documents. I have already sent the fees receipt ($1040) and PCC along with the application. Please help

Here is the note...details

In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the
following as soon as possible:
• Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
• Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.
• Submission of original passport along with any old expired passports for you and your accompanying family members. The picture in the passport for a child under 6 years of age must have been taken within the last 3 years. The picture in the passport for a child between the ages of 7 and 18 must have been taken within the last 5 years.

PLease check the last few words of the sentences "if not already paid/submitted". So its a generic letter and requesting you to submit or pay if not already done. Since you have already paid $1040 and submitted the PCC while filing the application you only need to send your current and expired (if any) passports along with the copy of the letter from Immigration section.

Congrats James.007. I have a couple of quick questions, When i check application status online, on the top right it says my wife's mailing address as the address as the address of **spam**'s office in Surrey, BC(who filed the application) and not her address in India. Is that OK? i wonder, Please let me know, if i should change the address to her residential address in India.

2nd question - I was about to file the atip request and it says at the bottom "*Select the category that best describes you. " and then you have 5 choices. Academia, Business, Media, Organization, Member of public. According to the videos posted about how to file atip, it selects Academia. Am i suppose to select Academia or should i be Member of public?

I would like to share some good information that I just received today.

Until yesterday my e-cas was Medical Received
Today my wife received her shiny VISA and then I cheked my e-cas, it says they started processing on Sept 18 and today we received the PP with the VISA and e-cas was updated

I received my GCMS notes 10 days ago and in the notes there were no comments made by VO in Canada. The only note that they made was the biodata was missing from the back of 1 photo. Security criminality etc was not started. Just Medical was passed and today we have received the PP back

I hope this provides enough positive energy and hopes in the forum that NDVO is really working.

Thanks canadian1986....Yes no new updates on strike...i think strike will not end until parliament session in mid OCT...it has done lot of damage to us.

Thanks for the wishes...
I have seen some messages where there were some questions regarding the biodata on the back of the fotos and nothing was started except the medicals. This is the reason I have put this GCMS information piece here. I hope this helps everybody to know that anything can happen at any moment.
