@ vatsalratiya I think they'll get back to the table eventually. But PAFSO is saying Treasury Board has to make the move.

its gud that govt is now not negotiating with pafso bcoz pafso now knows that next they will be given orders to go back to work.

And if they are given these orders again they cannot do strike again.

So eventually timi is a clever guys doing a temporary agreement with govt now and sending the pafso worker back to offices.

But if again they disagree with govt. they will again restart the strike and we have to suffer at their hands.

So its gud let it be this way now,....

ummm...8-10 is way too much. everyone i know..got their spousal process completed in less than 4-5 months max... i have a friend (from gujarat) whose wife was here in less than 3 months and this is in 2008...

As for the GCMS notes..i applied on August 22 and got it on Sept 19th.

Early 2000s saw the relaxation of rules under the liberals... maybe that's why.. once the Conservatives went to Ottawa things got tighter.

Follow up with them....u have the ref/recpt number.

Yes, sent them an email. Got an automated confirmation back with 'APPLY ONLINE' for notes. I hope a person replies to the email.
