You better apply GCMS notes..from past I have seen either they put DM straightforward, otherwise if they need something from you or something suspicious they will put to to "in process". It happened to me as well.

At that time jk there were hardly any immigration frauds now a lot of frauds have made our lives hell bcoz of those we r suffering

That is very true some agents specially in Punjab abused the system and they were caught and now its not easy anymore....we are just victims of someone else's wrong acts.

recently they have caught another agent in Punjab....

Not sure about the 3 month one, we had a lot of marriages in our family between 1995 and 200 and all those cases were 8-10 months.
There may have been better periods during that time when processing was much quicker. I hope one of those comes now.

ummm...8-10 is way too much. everyone i know..got their spousal process completed in less than 4-5 months max... i have a friend (from gujarat) whose wife was here in less than 3 months and this is in 2008...

As for the GCMS notes..i applied on August 22 and got it on Sept 19th.
