I think that's not valid bro...you must have attached the Consent to Disclosure of Information (NZ) form with your application...plz follow this link

we all r in d same boat.. even my ecas shows app rcvd dont worry sooner or later u vl gt visa this strike on is delaying our process.. but once u gt d visa n move to canada u vl forgt this frustration forever... just chilll

I did...but they were useless...no update since June 3rd...tells me the same crap i knew...medical received..file in process..criminal background/security Not started...blah blah blah.

it is the same officer who is working on your file, my file, and someone else. We all got the same statuses - nothing started (except medicals passed for me..yahooo.) I guess he decided, after passing my medicals, to pass out and go home after he woke up...lol

well my lawyer says no one who had applied to NDVO gets visa before 11 months (if lucky they get it in 8 months which is rare) ...and she is willing to bet her job if someone got a visa in 6 months..go figure...they don't know more than what we do. Only they are good at is presentation (she made a very wonderful file with subsections backed up by documents and a nice letter to ICI)

status for me is 'not started'..you actually got a request and was lost in the email if I remember it correctly...
