hey can_4visa i aply through private and did not get the pay method display to me is that OK?
As far as I remember we have applied under "Access to information act" as information was requested on my behalf by my spouse and I am not Canadian citizen/PR or the one who's currently living in Canada. Under this act one need to pay fee.

I wonder if the place you reside in Canada has any effect on how fast the PR is processed. I am assuming that applying for PR in Alberta, Calgary and Saskatchewan, which has more open fields and towns than people and cities, must be faster than say, Ontario or British Columbia because its crowded with people and large cities.

Anyone notice something like that?

Interesting that you have noticed something like this - I am sure Canada wants to populate its vast farmland vs. crowded metro cities. I mean this is very logical...

Processing of Visa's based on this criteria - I am not sure how that would play into effect here

Good Morning Guys,

Reading Tony Clement's response after PLSRB's verdict on friday...its safe to assume that not much is going to change in his approach. He is not willing to negotiate...hes not willing to resolve this problem....in other words..he doesnt give a sh*t.

So lets just forget this nonsense..and hope we get our DMs soon.
They are working on the files...slow but steady.:)

hahaha thx for the good laugh. I really needed this..:) did anyone beat my record lol no idea man I haven't even noticed :P btw where in india is your wife?
In Chennai where chief minister gives food at a reduced price, mineral water and vegetables for reduced price besides laptops, fridge, fan, TVs etc. So all one has to do is to get up in the morning, get subsidized priced food, nap in the afternoon, and get drunk in the evening.

This is what Tamil Nadu offers. No work. Not that I am going to do that.

I will be there in two weeks with a paddling boat to navigate the waters due to rain and a swat with a long stick to hit the mosquitoes that land on my arms and face. There will be first argument at the airport "let me handle my suitcase and I will put it in the car" "no, let the driver do it" god, give me mental strength to deal with people, rain, noise and mosquitoes..not necessarily in that order..lol

still it is home because of the lovely nosy relatives

When you apply through https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en#wb-cont you'll automatically get instructions for the same. You need to upload the consent form and need to pay fees as well in the last step.

ohk. thx alot

It's normal. Look at all of our timelines and you will see we have been waiting for 6 months or more..
