hi all, i have one more good and a positive news. Finally the big, long waiting game is over. i received my passport yesterday with visa. Ppl who are waiting for your visa will get it soon esp. jan & feb applicants. Dont worry.Stay positive with hope and faith in god.

Just checked GCMS notes. Looks like they haven't touched my file since May 29th ( the day NDVO received my passport ). Talked with DMP. He uploaded medicals on March 15th. We also mailed the medical report/certificate given by doctor along with application package. I think it should be fine.

I don't see IME # under medicals. What does this mean ?

here's few of my thoughts for your concerns:

1) What pages should I look at?
a) Assessments (in the 2nd page) would give the summary of the status - In your case as you have applied in Apr, it could talk little longer to have these updated
b) Notes section
c) And going through the latest updated date under all the sections
if one of the part under eligibility section has been updated in Aug, it means your file has been touched on that date

2) I got curious on what CSCD meant, found few pages mentioning it as follows:
a) CSC date is the date that CIC had the completed package with all of their required documents
b) CSC Date is 'Client Service Commitment Date'
These are just guesses from the applicants in the forum, so let us not get confused on these.

It looks like it is mentioned in your notes as they haven't received the original medical report.
You normally send that form that the doctor has provided to them, they normally send the detailed report along with the x-rays to Delhi.
You can check with your DMP where you did your test, request them to track if they have sent the medical report and when was it sent.
Then you can send a case specific enquiry mentioning about the above details you get.
Also in your GCMS under MEDICAL section (Under Admissibilities - after Security & Criminality sections), do you see an IME#?

Don't worry abt the IME#, i was just curious. If you don't see in 2/3 months, then you might have to get concerned.
In your case, I would say give it some more time. Just hang in there.

Just received passport with visa for my wife. Timeline again:

Application filed: Feb. 25, 2013
Application r'cvd: Feb. 27, 2013
Sponsorship approved: March 24, 2013
PPR request: April 26, 2013
Decision Made: August 30, 2013
PP r'cvd: Sept. 6, 2013

Took 6 months and 6 days to process application despite strike. Praise God!

It should not matter. As the file has been transferred, it's fine with the first part.
You might actually find why it got delayed a little bit for the first part.
In your case, you can make sure abt eligibity if there's anything mentioned about interview.
From my experience, it deosn't hurt to apply for gcms. Note that i've applied for 4 gcms.

It got delayed cs they misplaced my file .. That's what cic told me during enquiry ..

Send passport july 4,

Good news, Friendzzzzzzzzzzz !!

My wife has received the passport with the shining visa today!
Visa issue date: 02Sep2013, expiry date: 23Feb2014

My ecas got updated just today saying the following:
"We started processing your application on 02Sep2013'
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision"
FYI, my wife hasn't received any phone call or email regarding this.

Hope this gives some cheers-up to this forum family!
Hang on there will little more patience and everyone will get the visa soon! My prayers!
