I have been in the same boat as majority of the memebers ....
Now this wait is actually getting to my head.The wife is expecting in the seconfd week of October and me still her is not a good scenario.
Common NDVO issue the frkn visa asap....

Dear rani2728,

As it might take some time for you or your husband to collect all the information and the documents that they have requested.
The very first thing I would suggest you is to call CIC and make them aware about the situation that you missed the email in which they requested additional information. You just received this and now you are in the process of collecting this information. Buy some time from them.

I think when you call CIC, they will make a note on your file that you called and you have requested more time. I think you can also ask them to make a note of this on your file so that when a VO reviews it, they know that you missed the email and now you are in the process of sending these documents.
I have seen that in most of their communication letters, they always mention that if you need more time contact them.

I have been reading all posts from last 3 days and i can understand wot everyone is going through.

Till last week, i was feeling the same pain and frustration of being apart from our loved one for so long without any faults of us.
But trust me,once i came to know that visa is granted, all this pain and agony is forgotten forever and feeling of getting visa can only be felt.

Rather than getting depressed, just imagine and think how would u react wen u will come to know that visa has been issued

I was so happy and was jumping with excited wen i saw DM on ecas. Have patience and enjoy your final few days with friends and family.
Everybody is very close to getting visa...Wait will be over sooner

Although this is good if you can add your spouse name on your passport , but it's not mandatory . You can do it later or whenever you are going to renew your passport.

i have also added my wife name on my pp..i applied for my new pp after 3 months of spouse visa file submission...so its not a problem...although its very good for u if u add ur spouse name on pp
