travel history really delays d process guys????

Yes travel history delay the process upto 30%-40% cause they see where you have travelled, how many times, why did you travelled, did you do anything wrong when you where there in this way they ask for passport little early so they can check the wanted list which is international and national plus your travel time and it delays your process more if you have travelled to canada before your marriage as they might doubt that marriage is not genuine and you just want to have PR.

pls apply for notes if u haven't...coz maybe u missed ppr....can_visa also applied in april and thru notes she realised missed ppr so with the notes she sent her pp to delhi last month....travel history wldnt be the reason

<rant>My folks travel history is probably holding our file too, my father was AGENT VINOD - approved for visas, 5 passports, 20 trips to USA, dubai, UK etc - he is a security risk that's why he travelled and came back</rant>

P>S - I had 6 passports, Swiss and US student visas - it took me 5 months to get PR from buffalo back in 2001, whatever happened to travel history? then

Whom so ever's file is holding althought very straight forward is due to strike...

And even how you have prepared your file is important too as something missing can be asked and can delay the time mainly they need 3 things from the person who wants PR is 1). Your marriage is genuine 2). You are not faking your identity (the best thing to submit is pan card and election card for it 3). You have given complete information of years means they ask what you did since the age of 18 and if you are 29 right now you have to provide them all the information year-wise a break of even 6 months will cause delay... These are main things... Hope it helps...
