This is why you have to read the news. PAFSO is a union for foreign Canadian workers, only local Indians in NDVO are working right now who are not part of the PAFSO. Local Indians are only 10%, they are issuing the visa right now, but the strike is still on. Guys this is not India, people will only start the work only if PAFSO officially announce back to work. They will not resume work until we hear it from PAFSO. I'm in Ottawa, I even went to Rally that held to 2 wks back. Please stop posting incorrect information. You can be positive but don't just rely on that. Please email your MP's, we are the taxpayers, we have all the rights to question them.

so pls correct NDVO is not strike PAFSO is on strike... emailed n did everythng aagey allah ki marzi

@ anisha sweety even im waiting for DM ;)

Okay lets chill off... everyone has their opinoin to post so no harm if one feels other is incorrect and vice versa.

If we understand it correctly, a visa can be approved only by a visa officer (by default its a canadian govt employee - a foreign service person) the back office staffs might issue visa for cases that are finalized. Also please not the office is working and corrective measures from govt like temporary staffs (from canada are sent to visa offices abroad) and training to lower grade staffs etc to reduce the backlog. The strike is still on but govt is taking little steps to reduce backlogs.

PS: this is my opinion and i am not writing to negate or deny others opinions.

Hey guys.....
I have been following this forum from past many days....

I knw that reality is we all are upset that no updadte came this week. We all are eagarly waiting.

But try not to kill the positivity in the forum.....

Everyone is here to share their feeling but try n make sure that doesn't hurt anyone.

Please be positive .......

I knw iam saying be positive but its really hard to remain positive in such situation & frankly speaking its really difficult for me too but atleast we all can try...

we all are going through same ... we can nderstand each other than anybody else....

N lets just hope n pray that everything goes well ....

Yes he is here in 2 weeks! I spoke to one of his family friends the other day on Imessage who told me to "go to the saloon and get prettied up for my husband's arrival!" LOL
My husband has been doing a lot of body building and has apparently transformed his body. :P

My daughter starts school next week and also she starts her ballet classes, and swimming lessons. So lots to occupy me before he arrives!! 2 weeks will fly by!
