Hi, jus want to Share this with you guys. My wife's friend received her PP today with a letter stating that she won't get a Visa because of Strike please try applying next year. Wifes friend applied in March. Im on the same boat as you guys hopefully every thing works out for us.

I believe i checked around aug 18th or 19th and it showed we started processing your file on Aug 14th........don't worry they will start processing ur file soon....good luck

Yes. She applied for PR, sent her pp a month after march, received PP today with a letter about strike and reapply next year.

its unbelievable - they cant do this - they can keep pp with them for sometime more till the strike ends - infact they do keep pp with them for years as well - but returning it for such a lame reason is not acceptable. and if in case its true thn its ridiculous. Gutted!! Grrrr!!

I don't doubt you but this makes absolutely no sense and logic - ND cannot ask to reapply since CPC-M approves it, they can only refuse app

Yes you are right but I think the reason they sent her pp back was that if she wants to travel any where else besides Canada. I'm worried as well cause I applied in April anyways I don't trust these guys.

No they didn't request pp back for travelling. Her case was straight forward. It's hard to believe they could do such a thing.
