Sponsorship approval and file transfer to New Delhi: 21 Feb, 2013
Passport request: 9 March, 2013
Decision made: August 22, 2013
Passport received: August 26, 2013

I talked with MP office again on Friday. They told me that file information is on line so they need not to contact NDVO.
They called someone in Canada and got the status of application.
They got the same reply that processing time is 10-11 months and file has been forwarded to an officer for review.

i guess that's what thr standard reply is to the applicants whoz file processing havnt crossed the set time limit ie 11 mths(now).
