i hope they keep processing -- in whatever way they like -- its better thn no processing at all. Sooner or later everyone s gonna get lucky.

plus i think its how the files are assigned to diff officers and since its rotational strike so maybe they are working turn by turn -- thats why its getting random. Just a guess -- rest they know.

Were you able to find out why NDVO has not sent your PPR? my file was transferred in June and yours months before that....

Good to hear atleast people are noticing change in there ecas..i am also a march applicant.Waiting for my visa....but this strike has taken a scary turn. I keep chckin my ecas but it shows application recieved evtym ..nothing else..whereas we hv sent the medical along with the application.

jk45, dont loose hope... I am excatly in same situation as you... I can understand the pain you are going through... even I feel like shouting out loud.. just be patient... you will get good news soon.... dont be stupid to get such thoughts into you.... this is not the end of the world.... dont worry, things will get better...

I am just quoting James's message which he posted in the forum a couple of days ago. For all those who want their timelines updated on the spreadsheet write to them.

Dear Friends,

It feels really great to have positivity back in the forum. It was so frustrating and the situation was so preposterous. Now it feels great that NDVO has started issuing some visas, not at full pace, but it is started.

We apologize for not updating the spread sheet. We were waiting for Gulzar to share his sheet as his sheet was up-to-date but now as he removed the link to his updated sheet, we will start updating this sheet again (in my signature) so that we all are up to date with NDVO processings

It will be really hard for us to go back and check everybody's information in the thread, I really appreciate if you guys can help us in updating the sheet.
Please have a look at the current sheet and look at your information if it is up-to-date or not. If not, I request all forum members who want to share their information with all of us here, please send me or prasamp a personal message with all your updated details so that we can update the sheet with the current information.

Please copy both of us in your personal message. This will save some time for both of us.

I wish this strike to end on this August 21st and all diplomats are back to work and start our visa processing as soon as possible so that we all can reunite with our loved ones.

A message to all the newbies of this forum and to others as well whose information is not updated on the current spreadsheet. The first spreadsheet was created and maintained by GulzarND but for some reason he's been missing in action. In his absence a new spreadsheet was created and maintained by prasamp, James.007. If you'll want your information to be updated in the spreadsheet you just need to send a personal message to prasamp, James.007 with your timelines to have it updated.

Thanks to GulzarND for starting and maintaining the spreadsheet for a while. And many thanks for prasamp, James007 and others who are updating and maintaining spreadsheet..lots of immigration forums started on the web disappeared soon due to lack of participation of its members. This one survives because we consider everyone as family and as families do, we have occasional disagreements but still be a family....and I am sure when I check this forum after 20 years from today, this forum will still exist because of its members participation and support to each other.... and finally, thanks to david cohen for coming up with this idea and make visa seekers empowered
