Thanks...

I got something to share today.....
I send 1 mail to embassy asking details about my student visa, 2 form submission through "case specific enquiry" . But none of these enquiries got reply for 7 days.

Then I send mail addressing VFS canada and CC to Embassy email. Next day itself I got reply stating all information about my Student visa and PR Application status

I will suggest you all to do the same because they wont reply to our mails. But they will reply to mails if its been forwarded from VFS canada. This is second time I am getting reply because of addressing VFS canada mail ID (info.canada @ vfshelpline.com). then they will forward this mail to Embassy which normally they reply immediately.

Again I wont suggest doing it for all queries. but for some urgent needs it may help....

I am not sure if contacting VFS for PR applications is going to help.
You got a reply becoz you had applied for student visa. VFS is particularly for student and visitors visa
More info abt VFS can be found in this site >>

I know you want to help, but unfortunately your case and the case of everyone else in this thread is verydifferent so it won't help anyone else much even if at all. Everyone here incl. myself has a straightforward spousal sponsorship case, not a student application. Those are two completely diff. categories. maverick is right that the reason VFS replied to you is ONLY cause they handled your student visa application. It will not affect anyone else's application as VFS is not involved in spousal sponsorship cases.

Hi Suban, how did you make this request? is it through email or did you have to book an appointment and go personally to request for your file's status update.

Entirely from home. My exam is going on. So i don't have time to go to their office. I googled n found one MP very near to my address. I called them n told my circumstances. The representative was so nice. She said she could do everything over the internet. I need not go there. She emailed delhi yesterday n she said she would contact me upon she gets reply from delhi. She further clarify there can be some delay from delhi side. I said i will call her on Thursday. I think it should not take more than a week. My assumption only. I was looking for any fact from u guys.

Hi,
Can you please share the email address on which MP can send email with query.
I have given a link to find MP in your area. Put your postal code to find.
