Yeah, it's strange. It seems like the processing is happening differently for different applications.
There might be many variables such as second marriage, travel history, application form accuracy, adequate proofs for marriage etc.
But for straightforward cases, the timeline should be similar.
If you look at 2012 NewDelhi spreadsheet there are some applicants in Oct,Nov,Dec still waiting for their DM & visa.
But many Dec applicants have received their passport back with visa.
Why would this happen? Seems unfair to those who have been waiting in queue, isn't it?
But that's how it works. At first thought, I have been thinking that spreadsheet info gives us good hope.
But our case might be completely unique and it might be very quick or even take extra time for processing.
All we need is God's grace & good luck! Any update

I wud say...just send them the photocopies again.....because they..in instruction guide has written...just submit photocopies unless u r asked for attested copies.....do not send originals unless asked for.....

Any May applicants whose file has been transferred to NDVO in June but has not received their passport requests? I am getting nervous that people whose file got transferred in July are getting passport requests.

I can understand your situation. We could not do anything except awaiting.

GCMS timeline has increased from 30 days to 50 days !

I just got an email from AITIP to submit my husband's consent form and even that letter said 30 days. Not sure where people are hearing 50.

We received email from ndvo to submit passport and landing fee on June 27. We immediately paid our landing fee and emailed payment slip to Mississauga. We mailed passport and copy of payment slip to ndvo on July 8. On july 15 we received another email as a reminder to submit passport and pay the landing fee. We replied their email with tracking details of courier to confirm that pp has been delivered to ndvo. We emailed our MP in Toronto to help us to know the status of our application. It was a fruitful exercise. The email of MP confirmed that ndvo has received our pp and landing fee.

We were worried as our medical expiry date was coming closer. Thank God, the wait game is over. Received pp and copr on last Saturday by speed post . We both live together out of Canada and at present we are in India.
