I am shocked to see how childish Clement is, such a big matter and he is dealing it on twitter. Shame on PAFSCO and tony clement for not resolving this. I would equally blame harper for not stepping in at the right time and waiting for the disaster to happen. I must say that I always cursed INdian politicians but I actually must say now our govt is 10 times betta than canadian govt, they take bribes but they atleast get the work done time

Can you please tell how did u request them to change mailing address; e-mail, mail or telephone?? Actually I had received an e-mail on june13 to update my mailing address as the address on my file was of Canada and they said Indian law prohibits sending pp out of country by mail. So, I e-mailed, mailed and faxed my mailing address but nothing has been updated since then.

One of my friend got married in March 2013 for someone is Australia, and he is already there, how fast their system is 4 months and you are there, and how slow our immigration system is, keep waiting keep waiting. huh

But you know in Aus and NZ you cant get PR straightway even if your spouse sponsoring you like Canada...they must have to stay with their spouse for sometime ...after that they can apply for PR and after that it takes 6-8 months to get PR...your friend must have gone there on partnership visa not as PR...

Its been around nine months of being frustrated in waiting for visa. Now this strike is killing everyone. I don't think anyone neither govt. nor PAFSO bothered about pain caused to us of being separated from each one's loved one. May god bless all of us , and give patience to bear this disaster which no one knows , how long will keep continue.

Got PhD offer on 23rd July and Applied student visa on 26th.

Is there anyone here applied for student visa for PhD (Not Masters) and PR in this way

Well we wanted to apply.. bt agent said its going to complicate the case. Moreover we had already submitted our passport.. so it was getting very complex. Do update here if u get the student visa
