Not sure if that is a good / bad idea... I guess before doing that if you haven't emailed them till now, try emailing them about your issue.. and see what they say...

What should I do with CSQ?

I am a New Delhi applicant applying from Quebec. I just received my wife's CSQ. Can you guys please advise on the following?

1. Should I wait for New Delhi to ask for this CSQ?
Or
2. Should I just go ahead and send it anyway? and if I go this way, Should I send it directly to New Delhi by myself or should I send it to my wife and ask her to send it in?

My wife already sent in the passports. Should we send CSQ to the same address?

Also at the time of application, my wife was only able to provide here 10th class certificate as proof of d.o.b but now she got an official date of birth certificate. Should we also send it in?

Thanks,

@ Youtube : U dont have to send CSQ as r CSQ letter mentions that 1 copy of the same is fwd to the local office . N also if u see the CSQ we have CSQ 1 n 3 n we dont have 2 copy ! But still if u want to send Copy of CSQ with ur PP its fine !

byt they for sure are not processing our applicatiins. Right now they are more focussed on student and tourist visa. Asi frame ch kite v fit nahi ho rahe haje. And not to forget - they are processing 2012 applicants too which is good - coz they already went thru alot. Thr wait ahud end soon!! For us its been 6-7 mths or less.we can wait for a mth or two more !! No otber choice !! I hope they start processi,g our files once they are done with these student visas n all i guess aug end onwards will b our turn. We ll see alot of DM's thn.

But i really hope they end the strike soon - sometime before fall - tho it seems close to impossible - STILL HOPING FOR THE BEST - GOD BLESS US ALL !!

They hang up? you could try going to ND and talk to them but if your case is not done then you will need to sent PP back to India again via a relative -its a mess for sure

When I called them first thing they ask is my passport Canadian or Indian? Next thing after knowing its Indian all they say is send email as we do not take enquiries over the phone and hang up.

Man its so annoying. I sent emails to whole bunch of people in Canada, hopefully somebody would do something.

Hi All,

First of all thank you for making this forum a very useful tool for all of us to use.

Have a question reg my case.
My wife and myself are adopting a child from India. We both are Canadians.
We have sent in our application to VO in ND (stage 1 of sponser approval all done in Mississauga).

I was wondering what the timelines are. Also wondering what impact the strike will have on our application...
What we are waiting for is receipt of medical forms..

Would appreciate answers..

Thanks

I believe cases like yours are put on priority because of the circumstance, uniting a child with their parents may they be biological or not. My friend back in 2008, way before the strike was able to sponsor his wife dependent children within 3 months from India via NDVO.

Since your case is more special and critical with a child being sponsored by themselves, I am sure this case will be given priority.

As for timelines, I honestly do not know...

Each year canada admits 40000-45000 people as spouses of canadian citizens/PR...so there's fixed quota each year...so if immigration officers are not working on our files now then they will have to work fast when they will back at work.

I don't want to be a Debbie downer, but I have two children with my husband, who is waiting in India. There has certainly been no special priority to get his PR though two children a 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy are without their father. I just don't think there is any rhyme nor reason to this process. If you look some Jan 2013 people have gotten their COPR's while there are still many people who applied mid-2012 for theirs who are still waiting. It just doesn't make sense to me.

sorry for the delays... but the case mentioned above is different this is adoption case and even sponsorship approval for this case are processed on a daily basis. In our case it falls under family class. as per cic refugee and adoption cases are given higher priority.

I don't understand how can Harper choose a childish behavior Tony clement for this position...they cannot resolve one stupid strike for months......very incompetent....who made this policy in his incompetent govt. to hold applicant's passports for months. IT IS ILLEGAL.... PEOPLE WANTS TO TRAVEL TO OTHER PLACES BUT THEY CANT...THEY THINK ITS A JOKE I GUESS..
