Awwwww Anisha I thought it was for you... If I am not wrong, I read somewhere in your posts that u r from Kolkata. My husband is also in Kolkata. So, when I read you got visa, I was thinking may be my husband will be the next one.... I know they don't work according to cities but you know after such a long wait, heart wanna believe on anything.....

Nice to heare from you gauti. And yes we are all getting the same feelings. You are correct about the officer they should realize how difficult it is for us to live apart from our love ones. Also, I don't think they are going to have any problems unless the precious thing from them is taken. I wish I wish they realize how difficult it is to live without the one's you love and the gap is going to be huge unless WE as an couple understand EACH other, and our feelings.

Well you can get visa after ramadan but it will be better if you go in ramadan because the month is very precious and believe me I did haj as well "THE VIEW IS SUBHAN ALLAH" and the moment you go in there you wont feel like coming back.

Just try to get visa to visit to Saudia and then do your umrah.

yes i was too small whn i did ramadan in makkah.. INSHALLAH i vl go for hajj soon.... sply madina is peacefullllllll.... today is ur first taraweeh i guess...

Hey guys,
I'm new to this form. We applied for immigration in Oct 2012 got approval Nov 2012. Got AOR request in Mar 2013, we got a call from CHC-ND, asking if my husband is willing to travel before the end of August 2013 as his medical expires. Does this mean he got visa approval? The rep from CHC said to my husband they would attach a note re: his agreement to travel b4 medical expiry. Also, my husband asked how they would send the passport and the rep said registered post. Does this mean we can expect good news? It's almost been 11 months....so I'm hoping for good news. Please someone help me. ??? :'( so confused.

My Name is Gautam & I'm hard core social networking freak, i'm following some of the VISA office employee for past 1 week.

The first reply i got was something like that "they have lots of previous applications to clear and lots of work load"

Now again i got a tweet from one of the employee is "next week they will release 50 to 60 % of applicants who applied in Jan & Feb"

Don't be upset & don't lose your hope !
Just don't get frustrated!

1) call from NDVO at 11:56 - Richard on line. He asked whether I can travel by 10th of Aug. I said yes.... he then said whether I can personally come & pick up my passport from the office. I was confused, didn't know what to answer. I asked when do I have to come for that. He said that he would call up after half an hour and confirm.

2) call from NDVO at 12:17 - Richard again. He said " Madam ur visa is issued". I lost my breath that moment. He then said what would be my convenient date to come to new delhi. I said around 18 or 19th. He said 18th would be fine. Then he said how much time it would take if he sends the passport through speed post to my address at Kolkata. I said at most 2 days. He said then he would send the passport through speed post at that would reach faster than me going to delhi on 18th. He then read out my address and asked me to confirm it. I did and thanked Richard.

So friends..... I am tooooooo happy today..... just cant imagine how things have gone for the last 5 days.... I thank u all friends..... I am ever thankful to God and I sincerely wish that everyone will get through very soon.....
