ohhh.. but still if they work in seq thn?? we submitted all req docs passport thn y do they need months to work on our app??? i wanted to go for umrah and i cant now .. they shd keep seprte visa category sections...

It is good to here that you want to go for umrah. You see I wanted to go to umrah as well with my wife when her visa comes. But it looks like it is not gonna happen. I am getting a leave now and if I don't go now then all effort will be lost and more over I cannot take another leave when her visa will come so I am stuck in a situation where I can go now but I cannot go. I am waiting for her visa to come and then I can go pick her up this is sad. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Ohh man... I see some serious cursing going on in here...Yeah you know what ?? those guys deserve it..... I can literally see these 2-3 Indian visa officers sipping tea with samosas and being cranky about not being able to go on strike with their Canadian counterparts.... But honestly man.. m forced to think.. what the hell ..We are a billion ppl.. Why can't the immigration appoint some local professionals as substitute visa officers to clear the backlog... I am sure we have a lot of qualified and smart people good enough and most importantly willing to do the job.. Just for the time being..What's the point it putting a thousand application in backlog everyday ? :

you are 100% correct. They should appoint more people so that work will not get affected. I write to Jason Kenny lets see what he will reply. He must be frustrated with our e-mails..lolzzz

i understand... after ramadan we wont gt visa too oh yes u can take transit visa too (for citizens i guess) u have any idea???

I'm new to this form. We applied for immigration in Oct 2012 got approval Nov 2012. Got AOR request in Mar 2013, we got a call from CHC-ND, asking if my husband is willing to travel before the end of August 2013 as his medical expires. Does this mean he got visa approval? The rep from CHC said to my husband they would attach a note re: his agreement to travel b4 medical expiry. Also, my husband asked how they would send the passport and the rep said registered post. Does this mean we can expect good news? It's almost been 11 months....so I'm hoping for good news. Please someone help me. ??? :'( so confused.

If you are sending via Gmail, there is a add-on called YESWARE, unlike Outlook - where you click "read receipt" which is rendered useless as the recipient has the choice to click NO, but with this add-on there is no such option, works on all emails, its an embedded code in the email and it shows the person on the other side has opened the email
Tested with NDVO, even my MP - where I called them coz I know the opened my email

yes congrats, He got Visa thats why they are asking him for flying...get ready. Say to book flight and join you. Hurry up.... By the way when you guy got the call please tell us as it will help us to understand they are working.

did u got call recently ? and yaa read this ) call from NDVO at 11:56 - Richard on line. He asked whether I can travel by 10th of Aug. I said yes.... he then said whether I can personally come & pick up my passport from the office. I was confused, didn't know what to answer. I asked when do I have to come for that. He said that he would call up after half an hour and confirm.

2) call from NDVO at 12:17 - Richard again. He said " Madam ur visa is issued". I lost my breath that moment. He then said what would be my convenient date to come to new delhi. I said around 18 or 19th. He said 18th would be fine. Then he said how much time it would take if he sends the passport through speed post to my address at Kolkata. I said at most 2 days. He said then he would send the passport through speed post at that would reach faster than me going to delhi on 18th. He then read out my address and asked me to confirm it. I did and thanked Richard.

So friends..... I am tooooooo happy today..... just cant imagine how things have gone for the last 5 days.... I thank u all friends..... I am ever thankful to God and I sincerely wish that everyone will get through very soon.....
