while sending email to NDVO I am getting this kind of message:

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

re-delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

Please help, am i sending to wrong address ?

is there a space before and after the ' @ ' symbol??
there should be no space when typing the email address.. the email address is correct.

re-delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca (no space). for some reason, it's creating space when typing it here..

this email id is perfectly correct. We also received our PPR from them from this ID. At the end of their email to us, they said:


For all e-mail correspondence with our office, we request you to use the enquiries form at:
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi
Always include the applicant's full name, date of birth, and application number in your message

We also sent email to them once to this id : re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca (but did not get any reply back).
Not sure why you're getting a failure.
My guess is that, maybe because of the strike, they must be receiving tons of emails enquiring about the strike and applications so they have probably set it up this way temporarily.
I may be wrong though..

I just checked my travel history form which we sent. It says, "please list all the countries you have visited and that you have lived in over the past 10years"

So, we only documented travel between 2003 and 2012.

I am stuck with the "SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM -DELHI" which is to be filled by all applications age 18 or above.
And its asking for details of foreign travel.
I have traveled alot between India, Dubai, Qatar, USA and Canada... i have 3 passports... and before that i was on my mothers passport....
so do i have to enter each and every date of my entry and exit stamp in my passport from the time of my birth or only from 18 years and onwards ?

And should i start from the most recent travel or the oldest travel ???
plzz help..!!

Hey Buddy,

This situation is really complicated where you cant make a proper decision. On one side you have your sponsorship application in which CIC would hold your passport for ever and on the otherside you have your work. This is really very critical situation. But I would advise you to consult this situation with CIC. If your wife has sponsored you, she may call CIC call center in Canada to get an advice from them in this situation. You can also try calling NDVO on this situation and make them aware of this situation that due to your work you have to travel to US and if required you can submit your PP either at the end of your application where they have to make a decision. I think you can also submit your PP in US as well if they allow.

But best would be to discuss this with NDVO. They can make some better suggestions on this.

3. If the answer yes, Can I enter Canada from US once the visa is stamped


Am so worried and confused not knowing what to do, whether I should travel to US or stay here in India. Request anyone of you to answer my questions ASAP to take any decision please

Hi RaRog

legally you cant send indian passport to outside india or from any other country to India. Even It might me risky for you to live in US without passport.

NDVO demand passport very early in spouse case.

One thing you can do, Whenever u get Passport request you may request NDVO to submit passport later on or when they made final decison on ur file.

After decison they will send passport to indian address.

1) Ask NDVO to re-send the PPR at a final stage, I know a guy in 2012 forum who did this and had no problem. This will surely delay the processing though.

2) Dont send the passport once your are in US because that would be against an immigration law, also it would be very risky to live in a forgein country without PP.

Or else .. just take the name of the god and let this oppurtunity go and if your destine to be in US you will end up there

you cannot send email there since it's just a site..browse it and it will lead you to a portal where you fill out something online and send the inquiry to them

Last week nothing happened....No DM....No PPR

Been almost 4 months now submitting PP.

Were you able to check before?
Can you check with your file number that starts with F000xxxxxx?

Website says it takes 10 months to process 80% of files
but on the other hand, 'Gauti' received an email where they have stated they are committed to process 80% of applications within 6 months.....
Now, what is true??? ..........
oh my god.... its so hard to live like this..... our first wedding anniversary passed and we were thousands of miles apart from each other...

I have never heard of any Visa office promising to get all applications done within 6 months. I wish it were true, but on the website, if you go to processing times for each visa office it says 10 months for 80% of cases. That is what we should be going by.
