Hi there. On June 13/2013, my wife received an email from immigration Canada in India. They are requesting for a Landing Fee Receipt, PCC and Passport ASAP. The email states "The passport is not guaranteed for Visa. If all requirements are met then they will stamp The visa".

If any one have received similar email, please let me know how a long it takes to receive the passport with visa stamped.

I'm not sure If I have heard about passport request with comments such as 'if all requirements are met then the visa will be stamped'.

I had received same email on March 16'2013. I sent passport to ndvo on March 21'2013. I am still waiting for my passport with visa.Hope to get it soon.My Application was filed on Feb 13'3013 from Missisuage Office Toronto Canada.

I just wanted to update you guys about my wife's case. She's got her passport yesterday with shiny visa stamped on it. Here is the timeline:

Applicaton filed: 21-Jan-2013
AOR Rec'd : 04-Feb-2013
Sponsorship Approved: 14-Feb-2013
Passport requested: 09-Mar-2013
Passport rec'd by NDVO: 14-Mar-2013
Decision Made: 14-June-2013
Address Changed on eCas: 18-June-2013
Passport received: 20-June-2013.

So it means NDVO guys are really working (may be at a slower pace though)..

I wish best of luck to all who are waiting for to re-unite with their spouses.

If they wouldn't have gone on strike so many other applicants would have got their visa. Thanks to Tim edwards and all the VO who are supporting them. Speical thanks to Mr Harper for not doing anything about it. Its been 2 weeks and I haven't seen one article that would mention Harper's reaction or concern about this strike..
