Hi,
I just wanted to know for the GCMS notes did u select electronic files or physical files??

I finally got a copy of the GCMS (after a month long wait) for my wife's immigration application.

They have removed the following from the Client Section of the report:
Disassoc Reason:
Other Disassoc Desc:
Counterfoil Required:
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality:
Medical:
Misrepresentation:

Though under the Notes section under the label Eligibility it says:
***Interview waiver recommended*** File, supporting documents and photos reviewed. The PA and sponsor are compatible. The wedding was performed in accordance with cultural norms. The relationship appears to be genuine. File sent to officer for review.

This was the last note on the file dated 21st of May 2013.

Can anyone tell me what is the next step? Does the above section's exclusion from the GCMS report mean that they are still doing background check? Or based on the notes it means that the visa should be provided once the file goes to the officer?

Does anyone know how much more time?

Well M guessing mine is the longest wait..
Its been over 12 months my file has been in Delhi but I still havent got my Visa when the max time the file has to be processed in 10 months as given on the CIC site..
I am going to apply for the GCMS notes this week..

"Distance makes the heart grow fonder" thats something that has got me thru al these months.. U have to patience there is no other option

Hi m gaary sidhu .. My wife is a canadian pr she applied spouse sponsership for me ... She aplied on 15 feb .... Aor recived on 22 feb 2013..... Ppr on 4 april ... Send on 8 april ... Recived by ndvo on 15 april ... Medical was submited when we applied and pcc also .... There is one problem my adrress showing online is not correct tere is minor mistake in that ... On applied form i hav writen correct but they uplod with some minor mistake i hav send them email and application regarding this but they didnt reply nd even nt change it so im litle bit confuse please can anybody help me on dis topic

By online , you mean on ecas your address is not correct. That is not a problem , there is an option to edit address. You can update address from there.

How much time does it take after ppr for the visa?

Congratulations Watinforeva. It takes about 120 days after PPR for PRV. Now the real wait begins for you. Goodluck with it. Hope you hear from them soon.

Hey guys finally..... got my SA letter stating application has been fwded to new delhi for further processing..but no date has been mentioned ....is that normal....?

I just wanted to update you guys about my wife's case. She's got her passport yesterday with shiny visa stamped on it. Here is the timeline:

Applicaton filed: 21-Jan-2013
AOR Rec'd : 04-Feb-2013
Sponsorship Approved: 14-Feb-2013
Passport requested: 09-Mar-2013
Passport rec'd by NDVO: 14-Mar-2013
Decision Made: 14-June-2013
Address Changed on eCas: 18-June-2013
Passport received: 20-June-2013.

So it means NDVO guys are really working (may be at a slower pace though)..

I wish best of luck to all who are waiting for to re-unite with their spouses.
