NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

I sometimes laugh at myself these days... I am acting so irrationally - checking the ECAS several times a day... I have always known that there is no simple queue, or trustworthy statistics... However, since over the week before last, some applicants were getting their DM status 3 months to the date of PP receipt, I waited eagerly for ours to come. The D-Day came and went, no-joy... Thanks to this system, we are getting to test out our new relationship to the limits...
We have gone through the phases of "I wish we had taken the other route.." and "I wish we had applied sooner..." ... These days the frustration ebbs and flows. Reading the posts on this forum from others going through similar hardships helps. The other day I read out some of the posts over the phone to calm my spouse.

I know we are all going through very similar situations at home...

All of us are in the same boat.. and the wait is driving us all crazy... but we all are each other's strengths.. so keep hanging in there and things would work out soon.. for all of us!

I just wanted to update you guys about my wife's case. She's got her passport yesterday with shiny visa stamped on it. Here is the timeline:

Applicaton filed: 21-Jan-2013
AOR Rec'd : 04-Feb-2013
Sponsorship Approved: 14-Feb-2013
Passport requested: 09-Mar-2013
Passport rec'd by NDVO: 14-Mar-2013
Decision Made: 14-June-2013
Address Changed on eCas: 18-June-2013
Passport received: 20-June-2013.

So it means NDVO guys are really working (may be at a slower pace though)..

I wish best of luck to all who are waiting for to re-unite with their spouses.

not knowing whats happened to our file was the worst part....was driving me crazy!!!
I know i've lost out on time but a part of me is releived that i got to rework on my file....all the mistakes our consultant had made would have anyway added to dealy.
