Hi,

It has almost been close to 2 months since the passport was sent to NDVO, and we have not heard anything since. I was wondering would it be a good idea to make a request under the Access to Information Act (GCMS), to get more details of what is the status of the file? Or would it affect the processing adversely?

Help me out here...

Thanks

Oh really???
Its damn too slow!!!
You probably should send them a case specific enquiry...as its already more than a year....
and wait for them to reply,,,u can't re-do medicals urself, I think....

just E-mail them about ur case and wait...

@ James.007

Did you get your PPR ?

Hi finebalance,
I am in the same situation too... its been almost close to 2 months since I sent passport to NDVO and I too was thinking of requesting for GCMS. Can anyone suggest, is it a good idea to go for it at this point or better to wait for few more days? Also will this have any impact to my file processing?
Your suggessions will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Gupta

I think its better to wait then pushing them. I heard that they are taking 2-4 month after submitting passport these days. Its been almost 2 months for me as well..May 11 is going to be two months for me..

I am sure we will hear from there before June or atleast I hope they send it before june ::) ::)

Hey guys, I am a new member and I have a question about logging in to ecas:
I am an applicant(not the sponsor) and I received the PPR request. The PPR request included my UCI and application number. I sent the passport a couple of weeks ago but can't login to ecas using my UCI or application number. My spouse can login using his UCI and the status for PR only says "application received". Did all of you had to wait for a couple of weeks (after sending your passport )before you were able to login using your UCI?

Nope..Please check again if you are filling out the correct information. try with file number and your sponsored spouse's information.
