Congrtatulations KAASHU :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hello all,

Firstly, I want to congratulate to all the members who got their PPR and i wish them good luck for the speedy visa process. I have seen many applicants who were worried for their PPR in the past week. Hope its a good relief to all of them them who were part of that.

WELCOME TO THE NEW JOINEES :) :)

I know waiting time is really frustrating one but we can't help. It's all in hands of NDVO and luck. Till then keep your fingers crossed and see who is out of this waiting game.

@ HM82 :) good to hear that you have booked your flight. You are out of this waiting game :)... Cheers!!!!!! Enjoy and have a happy married life.

@ Gulzar Wish to see you coming Monday :). Hope you have finished your work. All are waiting for you.

Happy Weekend to all and wish next week will be full of happiness and many more positive updates for all.

Good Luck !

Mannat

According to my case sponsor and the one who has been sponsored both of them got their individual UCI numbers. My husband is the one who has sponsored me, we both have individual UCI numbers and I can check status about the PRV application using any of the UCI numbers along with the rest of the combination.

Say for eg. If I use my husband's UCI number then I would enter his last name, dob and pob as a combination and can still get the same information when I use my UCI number along with my details as a combination. Hope this makes sense. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck with your application.

Thank you for the response Mikey and Mum girl...
I have success in finding the info using my UCI no ..( sponsor) but If i try using my wife ( principal Applicant's) UCI no it doesn't come.

Hey Mickey ...
I have a UCI no and my Wife aslo have a UCI no...she got hers when they communicated with her and I Got mine right from the beginning when they sent me an acknowledgment of receiving the application ...

Cheers

It's never 2 to 3 weeks... NDVO always keep it for long time.. Idiots!
They have mine for almost 2 months and haven't returned my passport as of yet.

Lol dnt get upset they keep ur passport for long time if u have travel history and if u r involved in activities like politics, army etc they scrutinize more bout info :-) dnt get upset skas13's partner have no travel history he/she never left india it makes the case straight for them so in such cases they take decision first ask for passport stamp it and return back :-) easy and straightforward cases have no issues...

Hi all,

CIC- Mississauga received my PR application on 22nd March 2013. My husband got an email from CIC-M stating that he has been approved as a Sponsor on April 16th 2013

I just checked ecas and my status shows as 'Application received'. It says that my PR application was received on 22nd March 2013 and Medical results have been received.

I just wanted to know when will my application reach New Delhi? Is it already there - any way to check?

Or will New Delhi inform me when they receive my application?

Your valuable advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well you will receive a letter by CIC as follows..

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the

Which is there standard letter..

Thanks!

Hi aks.asr1 - I think that letter is for confirmation of sponsor status since my husband got that letter when he was approved as the sponsor.

I hope you are right! Our case is pretty straightforward, no previous marriages, and we have two kids together and lived in India together for 4 years. Hope it means a speedy process, though 2 weeks seems too fast. I'm thinking 3-6 months. But who knows...
