You are always Welcome !!! We all have to complete this waiting journey together and by helping each other so that it will become smoother experience for everyone.

All the BEST,

GulzarND: Greeting to you from Tenzin: There is question of BACKGROUND CHECK by NDVO? what this actually mean? Do they visit our permament place and inqueries all about us? Do they hired some agent to do checking and all about us.?

It seem that person who travel a lot to other countries tend to take lot of time in back ground check.. Is it right??

Your input is appreciated...

Tenzin

Hey Tenzin,

Never combine the photos in sheets. CIC have special instructions to keep the photos always loose. So just print the photos which ever you want to sent in normal 4*6 prints and send them. No need of arranging anything.

I hope its help !!!

All the BEST,
Gulzar !!!

Hey Tenzin,

The Background Check is carried out by the various agencies outsourced by the NDVO and every case is unique. So there is no particular way of doing the BC's. They can also make the visits to the residence or work place of the Applicant. But why are you worried about that. Let them do their job.

I hope it helps !!!

Gulzar !!!

Hello Harshiddhi,

After we submit the passport (PPR) average wait time at NDVO is about 3 months...and yes they keep the passport with them until Decision Made...Once the decision made it takes about another 2-3 weeks...

Hope this help :)

Thanx a ton hello888
So first u apply (application goes to canada missisagua) thn they approve u as sponsor and transfers ur file to delhi (for indian spouse) in about 29 days (lookin at current days) thn they ask for passport in about 2 weeks after the passport reaches ther they take 3 months max (some got passport in 2 weeks after they sent it to thm cant understand this mathematics)... :'( :o plz answer if any of u can...

Hello Harshiddhi

In average these days

After application recived AOR can take about 2-5 weeks (Check the CIC website)
Sponsorship Approval can take another about 1-3 weeks
File transfer usually immediately to 1 week after the Sponsorship approval
PPR request after the file transfer takes about 4-6 weeks
After PPR decision made can take up to 3-4 months
and another 2-3 weeks for you to receive the passport after the decision made

All together average about 5-6 months

Hope this helps.

Ok. thanks for clarification.. GulzarND... I will keep in mind...

@ Hello888
What if send the fees all together for both steps...? AOR wil be quick??

It is always better to send all the fees together when applying otherwise this may delay your file for another couple of months.

Send with the print from email attachment. NDVO or any visa office will not send postal letter if its already sent an email. This is usually clearly communicated in the AOR
