So true... They have us sitting on the edge of our seats, holding out breaths and gripping the seats with white knuckles for a decision to be made that is hopefully in our favour. It's like being in a bad over-rated thriller with the suspense of waiting that is killing us rather than the actual psychopath showing up.


But congratulations to all who got their DMs, I am sure you will get your passports soon.
I am praying that everyone will follow in short order.

ecas status is still same ...file received and medical results have received ....may i know ...when i can expect something ..i mean any change in my ecas updation or how long i have to wait ...to get maple visa.any type of answer would be cordially appreciated

Sorry guys I culd not get exact dates on which they applied( but application was filed in march), passport requested (april) or medicals done (january).....n she landed yesterday n the couple are soooo happy they dnt want to talk abt the pain they went through to get visa...ill update u guys as soooon I get information....

C ya n im keeping fingers crossed fr tomorrow....

Hi,
I am new to this forum and wanted to be in touch with fellow friends who are all in the same boat of never ending wait to meet their spouses.

Well I got married in Feb2013 and my wife is Canada citizen and I am an Indian living & working in USA.
We applied for PR and below are few details....
Sadly, the Strike by embassy staff all over the world since 5 months (unbelievable!!!!) has definitely delaying the process for everyone I guess...
But surprisingly(sweet ofcourse), I see some posts mentioning they are getting approved even during this time..Hoipe it works for everyone...

Well ,I have a couple of questions

1) Though CHC Delhi requested me for passport immediately after they received the package, I(through my lawyer) requested them that I will submit it when they are in final stages of decision making. Is there anyone else like this out there. Just want to make sure, it really doesnt hurt.
2) The case status says "Application received", even after 5 months of submission. Should I be expecting anything more to that. I see few people mentioned status like 'Medicals received' as well...

hey -- no issues - its all good -- many applicants do request them,for 2nd ppr plus ecas status is not that reliable our timeline is similar even i see app rcd only. Nothing to worry.

I am going to India for a week to meet my husband.

im 146 days today ...... sept 19th 5 months complete....

its gud that you are going to see him for a week I think even if u go for month it wud be too less for the time we spent without them.............

If you get your passport on Sept 19th, it will be awesome..already a champion and star member but you will be making a history too when all the important things happened to you on the 19th....but if you get it before the 19th, it will be great too but won't make a history in 'New Delhi - 2013 Applicants' thread...
