Hi everyone, I have been doing some research on driving license for my husband, who will go bat sh$t that he won't be able to drive here right away. He hates being a passenger, plus he'll miss his motorcycle.
He'll freeze his butt off trying to drive one here.

It's really important to prove that you have 2 years plus driving experience as it will make it easier for you to go right to a G2, which includes a written and driving test. But a G1 which you don't want is the basic learners permit and you need to have it for a year. You can't EVER drive on your own for that year. You have to have a licensed driver over the age of 18 in the passenger seat with you at all times. Which I know my husband will HATE! He is trying to get his letter now, thankfully he still has 1.5 weeks until he leaves.
