My application status got changed to DM yest. and the description under status showing as "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Did any1 got the status as above? What does that mean "The office will contact you concerning this decision"?

Below are my time lines:

Application filed: 31-Dec-2012
Medical done: 12-Dec-2012
Sponsorship approval: 21-Jan-2013
PPR : 9-Mar-2013
DM: 16-Aug-2013

This is surely good news!! Maybe your passport with visa is on its way!
Did your e-cas ever go to "in process?" Do you know when they started working on your file (should say in e-cas)? Just wondering because my husband's went to in process this week.

No. But in the description its showing as "We started processing your file on 2nd Aug, 2013."

OMG that is so fast!! I mean time they started processing to time you got the decision. They started processing my husband's on August 7th. Hope it means it will be quick for him too.
Very good news. Visa will arrive soon!! You must be so excited.

I am planning to visit my husband for a month. I am a canadian citizenship.
Am i allowed to stay for a long period of time?????

Hi,

If you are going on a tourist visa on a single entry you may stay upto 6 months only. As far as PIO and CIO are concerened, for that I do not have much knowledge. You can check with the Indian cosular and visa services office in your city, they will provide you with all the information.
