How long it took GCMS notes to update you and what did you attached when you sent a Passport to New delhi?

hey u too shud apply for gcms notes if u havnt yet! Else it might delay ur case a bit more just in case u too missed ppr bcoz of so and so reason. Its better to b on safer side. Righto?

I checked my e-cas today morning. It shows decision made.
Now, my concern is that the mailing address shows my address in India. Earlier it was showing my mailing address in Canada n then I sent them mail to change mailing address to India's mailing address.
But I thought they change ur address to Canada when it shows 'Decision Made'????

I sent mailing address by e-mail in April for 1st time, got reply from ndvo on june5 that they need a signed letter via mail or scanned via email. I scanned and emailed then receved another email on june 13 from ndvo requesting me to upadte mailing address so that pp can ve returned by registered mail, so mailed a signed letter on jun 13. Nothing was updated on e- cas so i sent anothr email AND mail on aug 9.

No, I haven't get PPR yet and here I contact one agency who work for canada files since long and they said in case you missed email NDVO will contact us for that.

I'm really not getting what to do coz visa agent here said if you try to followup with file and provide application number can cause delay though I know GCMS notes is provided on CIC it should not harm our file but i'm confuse what to do!!!! ???

Oh.. Thank you for the info.. have they informed you about the courier tracking number so that you could track your passport?

You should not waste time in waiting because of strike you can't expect 2nd PPR on time. So better to go for GCMS notes as generally in simple and straight forward case people got PPR in 30-50 days of application transfer.

I personally feel that most of the VISA agents doesn't know about GCMS notes... and I guess some simply scare us and ask us not to do any thing apart from waiting... but I feel applying for GCMS should not impact your file processing in any way....
