Hi RitzG. How long has your file been under final review? When did you apply? From what I have experienced sometimes they ask for PCC if expired as was the case in my husband's interview. However, like in Avneet's case she was told in interview her pcc expired and officer even said she would get letter but two weeks later she got visa. So it's all luck hopefully you will not need to do one again

I got reply from MP last month, I applied in October 2013 and still waiting

I hope they won't ask for PCC again as the passport's are with them since Oct 2013 and for PCC you need the passports.

Hehe @ SidhuBTI is there some info you're aware of that we aren't ? Still waiting for visa Hopefully your well wishes do come true Btw I see you're a May 2013 applicant did you receive your visa ?

@ RitzG we are in the same boat our file is from Nov 2013. We were given same info beginning of May that file is under final review pray we hear good news soon ;D

I submitted my Application Sep 2013. I did MP inquiry and got my GCMS notes final reviews are done, criminality is done, remedical is done, the only thing we are waiting for is security check since November 2014. Does anything know how long it takes? when this waiting is going to over

Hi Sana from what I know security checks are done by CSIS in Ottawa I believe so they look at your travel history etc. But I would definitely keep contacting MP to try to get them to push that faster cuz that's too long of wait if it's been started since Nov 2014. Hopefully remaining 2013 applicants hear something soon and they get our files finished once and for all !!!

Thanks for your good wishes.. I do hope sincerely that you get some good news soon and yr wait ends ....I would suggest hold the ppt currently and wait for the ppr . since once it comes u can send it through VFS. order notes if u havent done so recently and see whats going on with the file.

While what aamna is saying maybe true ....i am a bit skeptical with NDVO. what if they loose the passport and then u have no proof to show them why u sent it in.
Also i would suggest bug yr mp....tell him or her about the case. make it dramatic...u never know what works..

So I got update from MP that after speaking to CIC my husband's file is still waiting for final review. There is no timeframe for this Advised to enquire again in 6 weeks if hear nothing back

Need help guys.I got re medical request mail today after ages..but the thing is that I already did my medicals 14 days before.Now can anyone suggest wat to do.I called in the medical centre that they won't do medicals again as my medicals are valid for one year
