I remember they used to extend a lot of Medical Report's expiry dates during months of March-May. Recently I barely see them doing that.

But the answer is Yes if the Visa Officer wanted to help they can always extend it for a couple more months.

just recieved my notes , and it says under incomings recvd posion letter, and another incomings marraige of convienece , and under eligibity it says in progress and interview recommended and under notes from officer it says that i was married and i have daughter and my husbands first marraige and his siblings and all and compatibilty it says age and pa was 41 and 10months and sponsor was 40 and 8 months old at time of marraige which is wrong we are 10 years younger then that , they havent written any concerns , how do i know why they have interview???

what does your last two pages say? interview recommended or not..some moron over at New Delhi visa office has written confusing assessment..from what you have written it says your marriage was 'marriage of convenience and interview recommend' and they have concerns about sponsored person being older than sponsor (according to one of the ten commandments of ND visa office 'you should order an interview if a female sponsored person is older than male sponsor person') and that's why they want to have an interview....you could be 10 years younger but are you older than your husband? then they have concerns..if not age the issue, it could be that you have daughter from previous marriage and your husband's first marriage; or it could be you got married immediately after the first marriage dissolved; or it could be the first one was not dissolved properly or it could be custody issue they want to know how you are going to deal with visiting rights of the father when you move to Canada...any number of reasons...if you are younger than your husband, then at the time of interview, you can raise the issue of these morons entering data incorrectly by providing photo copies of birth certificates...

Thanks for your reply, actually my ex has been emailing cic I don't knw what but it says in notes multiple issues brought up my ex, this was in my first notes then I ordered it again 3 4 times they had hidden it and now last month I ordered again whn I heard frm pm tht we have interview n today I recived all the notes nothing hidden
And under I comings I see two new things besides my communication with them one tht recbd. Poison pen letter a second incoming it saud TIP marraige of convience and some attachment so I'm assuming this all was sent by my ex. And under eligibility it says in progress and interview recommended , other notes dosent say any thing tht wud make me think y we have this interview it says abt my previous marraige and siblings of my present husband and they D'sOB and I came to Canada under fc1 and year I came n date of my first marraige and compatibility it says age sponsor was 40 and8 months and pa was 41 and 10 months at the time of marriage same education level same religion same social back ground , I'm confused y we have this interview???

hello there, do not worry about it . Same thing happened to me . I rcvd a generic mail from NDVO in april to submit PCC FROM countries i have stayed over 6 months in april. So in may 2014 , i sent them PCC from singapore and england and on 11th august i got a specific mail requesting for PCC from england and singapore . I wrote them 3-4 times and they did not bother to reply , i even sent the attested copies and original courier receipts but i got no reply . So finally i contacted concerned MP in canada and narrated the entire story . MP contacted NDVO & they replied that PCC's have been received but i am yet to hear from NDVO . They suck big time. My file is stuck IN PROCESS since 6th august . Not a big deal but yeah it'l' delay your file by a month or so . Stupid NDVO

i sent medical for India in the complete initial package. For Singapore PCC, I needed a letter (AOR) from CIC to apply. SO later after receiving this letter I got it and sent separately.

I know medicals are valid for a year, do they have any additional leeway in that??? can they extend it a few months ? any ideas guys?

Visa Officer has power to extend the medicals which they use it case specific. This was used liberally for 2 to 3 moths when they were processing files immediately after the strike was called off in cases who were ready to move with short notice.
Now they are asking re-assessment of the medical with chest X ray on its expiry of one year instead of complete remedical.

i am confused by what you have written...if they mention age difference for the first marriage, it would not have any impact on the application process...the comment about marriage of convenience, is it for the first marriage or the current one? if it is about the first one then they should not call you for an interview but if they suspect the second one is a marriage of convenience then they would question you... it is also possible that they want to know about your husband's siblings if they are young and not married...in any case, go through your application and come up with possible questions; go through the list of interview questions that people have posted in this forum; come up with possible issues that your ex might have written to them and prepare a good response to address those issues...

Hello guys, I am going to put up my application soon, just need a clarification on fees.
I suppose it is like this: Sponsorship application ($75) + Principal applicant ($475) + Right of permanent residence fee ($490) = Total $1040.
I hope this is correct.
Please advise.

about ur notes what I conclude dat...

●they hv ur wrong DOB's...like u said you guys younger then dat...so solve this issue via CSE or send them proofs abt ur dob...
●other issue is wrong information send by ur ex....but wht I don't understand is a applicants information is secret like application no..UCI no etc etc....how ur ex find out this information and Send them dese wrong proofs. ..
●next is ur husband's siblings...I think they are on the same age or younger then ur husband. .and VO thinks dat why ur husbandmmarried you to reached in Canada. ..
●you are previously married and u hv a daughter and ur husband unmarried...so this is also a issue. ..

so all dese things clearly indicate dat they hv doubt on ur relationship...like u hv a MOC...
dats y they recommend you for interview. ..

according to my notes eligibility status date means when my husband' s ecas changed to DM. ..like when they passed sponsored person eligibility. .
