Hello All,
I am applying for proof of citizenship for my new born who was born outside of Canada. I have prepared the application form however in the "gather document" section it indicates i require a photo id for my new born.

DO I REQUIRE A PHOTO ID OF HER??? AS SHE IS JUST A TODDLER AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ID TO GET FOR HER.

PLZ REPLY EXPERIENCED MEMBERS WHO HAD WENT THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE/ SENIOR MEMBERS.

AS A MATTER OF FACT IT INDICATES TWO IDS AND ONE HAS TO BE A PHOTO ID

we was also confused about this thing..bcoz its not possible for a new born. ..so we just take our son's pics when he was just 20 days old. ..and gather all proofs of his birth. ..and went to local embassy chandigarh...so after talking to them they just submit everything with both of us id proofs...
in the end its not needed...bcoz we received just certificate of our babys not photo id proof...

just one time go to your local embassy and asked them what's the requirements for a new born. .

don't loose pateince. ..for Jan applicants its just 7th month...look at me its my 12th month...and other 2013 applicants...
you 2014 batch are Lucky. ..so don't panic just enjoy few days in India..gud luck

FINALLY OMGGG moment is here
Got my passport with the shiny visa today morning on my one year anniversary.
Decision made was updated on 15 August. The passport was sent on 13 August and received it today in Kerala.

Congrats to everyone who got their decisions and All the best to everyone waiting.
