Hi there-

I am also living with my spouse since 2.5months waiting for some response about our application. We are November applicant still no update on ecas other than application received..

I am sure you will get ur visa very soon since its already DM dont worry.

We got DM since 2 weeks and still there is no PPR as of yet. I have been living with my spouse in back home since 2.5 months. Now, Iam getting worried and don't know if I should contact NDVO about PPR because Iam not now in Canada. Please help me out and share your experiences. Thanks everyone for sharing your opinions, appreciated.

Please update the excel for Chinmayee. Application transfered to NDVO Dec 24th 2013 and PPR Jan 24th 2013. I am just using my hubby's account Muthyam..both are same lol. We are November applicant.

I got response from NDVO when I sent them an email enquiry about my file. Below is the response. I guess this is just generic message..no use



This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

This Family Class application was received by our office after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending officer review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of one year to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status. For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months, please click here.

yeah thats totally genetic answer. ...I already hv dese kinds of 3 emails....
they didn't give us gud answer to our e-mails. .but yeah they sure mention this to our GCMS notes that we received ur email to so and so time period. ..but dese morons didn't mention that whats the answer they send to us...duffers

When you’ll say living with spouse have your spouses cm down or did u’ll apply for visitors and gone to Canada … im a dec applicant and just cant handle the distance anymore…

Hello waiting 2 exhale-

I sent email to MP to do an enquiry about my case and they responded that they will do once once all the existing requests are finished. And I got a generic response from NDVO stating that our application is under review.

Anyway I think they are keeping aside those applicants whose medicals are expired for a while and I think they will touch those files when they have enough rest..lol. All I can say is that people who work at NDVO are nothing but MORONS with no heart.

did you get your notes? did it mention any interview recommended? what did your MP say? other than these steps, you don't have many options to find out the status of your application...normally it takes 10 months to hear anything from NDVO (they didn't touch my partner's application for 11months it was 'application received' all the way until they had interview and it changed to 'in process')

as per the forum members trend they always contact to NDVO as this kind of situations....like call dere no.., do an case specific enquiry. ..and ask them what's the delay. ..
why not u guys asked ur MP about it..?

Hey Divyad-

I know its extremely hard to maintain long distance relation..when is ur medical expiring. Since u are a December applicant you are very close to get ur visa. Dont worry...your wait is almost done.

These monsters are just playing in the office with the files open. When I saw the mail DELHI IMMIGRATION I got so excited for no dam reason .

I came to visit my spouse almost after a year after marriage and hoping to go back together with him this time. Its been two months and I am here on my work leave..i wish i can go back together as a couple next month

@Muthayam..... thanks a lot seeing the trend here i think next yr dec ill get the visa ..... Medicals expire in oct ...... n my hubby is dead against applying for a visitor visa ... really no clue wat to do just waiting for life to start for both of us...... feel like going n beating those guys up....

what do these guy do after asking for the passport ? do they chk if each n every page is genuine .....?

they eat lots of laddoos and take a 8 or 9 month nap and they will open it...so frustrated with these stupid people...they are working so random and few files are just skipped for a while not sure why...i wish they at-least communicate with the applicants
