does NDVO update ecas on any particular days like i heard they only update on Tuesdays and another days i dont remember..

is it true ?

any help would be appreciated

I think I have a possible theory for this trend of September, October and November applicants files being processed slowly.
1. We do not have enough data for December applicants(only 7 applicants) to get to decisive results
2. 85%+ applicants of 2013 have received IP, DM or PPT

Now my theory is after processing upto August, NDVO realized that they only need to process 40%-50% of the files to meet their 80% target(they always quote timeline for 80% applicants). So most likely they jogged through September - December applicants just to keep the processing time of 80% applicants low. To justify the slow processing of rest of the applicants they gave ADR, interviews or did not touch the file left right and center.

What do you guys think?

I would love to see someone prove this theory wrong as this is not what I would like to see.

no, they don't send confirmation because it is too much work for them. Checking spreadsheet (fakename has done a great job of organizing information in spreadsheet..will fakename reveal his/her real name so we can personalize the congratulations?), I find couple of people who had ADR requested and interview after that...primo had interview first and then ADR; Jaycee4sweet ADR 12/14/2013 followed by interview 6/4/2014; Jasminexyz ADR first 6/6/2013 followed by interview 9/3/2014) others had ADR but no interview...so it is possible to have interview after ADR...as for waiting time, nobody knows..people have been waiting forever (we spend so much of time waiting for bus/train; government to send checks, forms etc; NDVO to do something) after sending ADR...

it depends on if they see a crow when they come out of their house; if a black cat crosses their paths then no updates today; god forbid if they see a water buffalo first thing in the morning (I don't mean their spouses or in laws)....in the past it was weekends they updated the ecas; currently whenever....

lol....that's why you don't see water buffaloes around New Delhi visa office building (they are all inside the building pretending to be working..again I insulted the real water buffaloes..my apologies to buffaloes..) they avoid visa office like a plague...try bribing water buffaloes with their favorite food (wall posters) and drag them with their food all the way to ND visa office they will charge at you when they enter the road where visa office is located...

Hello everyone.. first of all its such a releif to see a DM on ECAS. Although I dont have passport in my hand yet so I shouldnt be boasting about anything but thisbis something who feel that the proofs they sent might not be enough...
I had sent only 20pics with my application. But I sent 3 different packages to NDVO on 3 seperate occasions with more phone bills and photos etc. NDVO confirmed receiving of those packets and attaching them to my file in GCMS notes
Anyways thanks everyone for your good luck amd wishes
